Storyline:
During 1918, when World War I is raging through Europe and a deadly flu epidemic is ravaging America, the Witting household is thrown into its own turmoil. Jacob’s father, John, who walked out on his family when Jacob was a boy, suddenly reappears. Although years have past, Jacob still feels the pain of his father’s abandonment.
