Ames Smith, an unsuspecting young surfer from Australia, boards an airplane for Los Angeles, unaware that he is infected with a deadly virus that is about to put the entire city into a state of quarantine.  When he dies on the flight, the entire planeload of passengers is put into quarantine until the CDC can find the source of the virus in “Pandemic,” a Hallmark Original Movie Event which premieres in May 2007.  Tiffani Thiessen, French Stewart, Faye Dunaway, Vincent Spano, Bob Gunton and Eric Roberts star in the fast-paced adventure.

One of the passengers escapes the quarantine and thus begins passing the deadly virus.  When a judge rules the quarantine illegal, the passengers who were not immediately infected return to their homes and daily lives not realizing they are transmitting the virus to everyone they come in contact with.  Soon the pandemic is spreading across the city as all schools and shops are closed.  The members of the CDC rush to locate a vaccine that can be given to citizens of Los Angeles before thousands of people are infected.

Daniel Gross are the co-executive producers.   Kyle Clark and Jim Wilberger are the producers.  The director is Armand Mastroianni and Bryce and Jackie Zabel are the writers.
