Ordinary Miracles In a pristine upscale neighborhood, in her elegantly appointed house, Katherine “Kay” Woodbury (Jaclyn Smith) sits alone, reading the morning newspaper. Her dark suit is Brooks Brothers “power issue”; her demeanor all business.
At the Superior Court, Kay, looking somber in a black judicial robe, presides over a case involving 16-year-old Sally Powell (Lyndsy Fonseca), who is all attitude in her biker boots, torn fishnets and black motorcycle jacket. Because of Sally’s lying and stealing, her foster parents want to relinquish her back to the care of the state. When Kay learns that the County Home is at full capacity, she has no choice but to remand Sally to the Juvenile Correctional facility. Unfortunately, the troubled teen will have to stay there for three full weeks – until the court recess is over. more
