Murder 101: College Can Be Murder Dr. Jonathan Maxwell, absentminded but brilliant criminology professor, has taken a younger colleague, Stuart Evans, under his wing. He’s trying to help Evans gain tenure at the university. Maxwell is one of three people on the committee that will have final say on the young professor’s academic future. The other committee members are Archer Coe, an arrogant English professor and world-renowned novelist and Camille Brewster, the interim dean. Maxwell voices his support, but Coe vehemently disagrees. Camille is reluctant to commit before the official vote. Public sentiment supports Evans (even Hilda Lake, a subordinate in Coe’s department, likes him), but his chances are slim. more
