Synopsis McBride (John Larroquette) introduces his young associate, Phil Newberry (Matt Lutz),to his mentor and idol, superstar defense attorney Grayson Franks (Madison Mason). After a dazzling display of his courtroom magic, Franks invites the two men to his palatial home to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the day he passed the bar exam. Storyline When McBride defends the accused murderer of his mentor, he realizes saving his client will mean destroying his idol’s reputation. Phil’s childhood friend asks McBride to defend her teenage brother, accused of killing a superstar defense attorney in a robbery gone wrong. The victim was McBride’s friend and mentor, but as his investigation widens, he realizes he will have to drag his idol’s name through the mud if he is to save his client. more
