JUST WHEN THINGS ARE QUIETING DOWN,
EVERYTHING GOES WRONG FOR OUR BUMBLING HERO IN
‘INSPECTOR GADGET 2,’
A HALLMARK CHANNEL PREMIERE SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 4

Just when things are quieting down in Riverton, everything goes wrong!  Bumbling hero Inspector Gadget is put on probation and the nefarious Claw stages a daring escape from prison and plots yet another “Crime of the Century.”  When Mayor Quimby unveils a new and improved all-robot, all-tech, all-female gadget, things couldn’t get much worse for our inept superhero.  “Inspector Gadget 2,” a hero with more moving parts than a Swiss watch, is a Hallmark Channel premiere, Saturday, November 4 (9am/8c).
“Inspector Gadget 2” stars French Stewart (Hallmark Channel Original Movie Event “Pandemic”) as the Inspector, Elaine Hendrix (Disney’s “The Parent Trap”) as G2, Caitlin Wachs (“Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood”), and Tony Martin (“The Wildside”) as Claw.
William Robertson and Alex Zamm are co-writers, with Zamm directing.  Peter Green and Charles Hirschhorn are producers.  David Roessell is executive producer.  John Cox, who earned an Oscar® for Best Visual Effects Award for his work on “Babe,” handles the job for “Inspector Gadget 2.”

“Inspector Gadget 2” is based on the popular cartoon character of the same name which debuted in 1983 and featured the voice talent of Don Adams. In 1999, a live-action version of the popular character was released by Disney starring Matthew Broderick as the “ultimate crime fighting machine.”
“Inspector Gadget 2” features double the special effects, double the gadgets and double the fun.
