A Hallmark Original Movie Event, “Final Days of Planet Earth,” the three-hour big-budget science fiction thriller, invades U.S. homes, starring, Daryl Hannah, Campbell Scott, Gil Bellows and Suleka Matthew in the futuristic tale filled with state-of-the-art special effects. 

Three years ago, a team of astronaut/miners were completing a daring space expedition when something went tragically wrong: their commander, William Phillips, (Campbell Scott) awoke from hyper-sleep to discover the crew had disappeared.  Present day finds archeologist Lloyd Walker (Gil Bellows) and entomologist Marianne Winters (Suleka Mathew) joining a select group of people questioning a series of bizarre disappearances and accidents in their city.  Liz Quinlan (Daryl Hannah), one of the original mission astronauts, is the only person who knows the terrible truth: the city and its civilian leaders have been taken over by aliens masquerading as humans, and Quinlan’s body is playing host to their queen.

Discovering this, Walker and the others realize they can trust no one, except the one man who knows the aliens’ ultimate goal – Commander Phillips – who has been held hostage for the last three years by the aliens.
