Storyline: Only weeks after his father dies, and his eleven-year marriage abruptly ends in divorce, James Dodson decides to go on a fly-fishing pilgrimage west. His goal: to heal his wounded spirit and explain the vagaries of life and love to his beautiful, precocious seven-year-old daughter, Maggie. So with a beat up truck and fishing poles, they set out to wherever the spirit and lure of America's mighty rivers lead them. On the way, James discovers a great deal about America, and about the special relationship that can exist between a father and daughter.
