Two-time Academy Award®-winner Sally Field (“Places in the Heart,” “Norma Rae”) and two-time Emmy® Award-winner Judy Davis (“Serving in Silence:  The Margarethe Cammermeyer Story,” “Life with Judy Garland:  Me and My Shadows”) star in an encore presentation of a Hallmark Channel Premiere “A Cooler Climate,” Saturday, November 18 (5pm/4c).

“A Cooler Climate” tells the story of Iris (Field) and Paula (Davis) who connect first in a business arrangement with Iris being hired to be Paula’s housekeeper after Iris’s long-term marriage fails and her young boyfriend leaves her.  Paula is a stern taskmaster and doesn’t seem to care much for the travails that have befallen Iris, until her own long-term marriage ends and Paula, too, finds herself alone.  Together the women pull together to become friends as they both deal with changes in their lives that neither could imagine.
