Annie's Point Amy Davidson gains granny

On the hallway wall outside Amy Davidson’s “8 Simple Rules” dressing room hangs a photo of Betty White.  It’s been there for three seasons.

“It’s a beautiful picture of Betty doing an early television show called ‘Hollywood on Television,’” Davidson says.  “She looks like she’s in her late 20s and she’s absolutely beautiful.  I see it every day.”

And now, after having bonded as costars in the Hallmark Channel Original movie “Annie’s Point,” Davidson and White are the best of friends.   more

Every morning, Betty White starts her day with a cheery greeting for her beloved late husband, Allen Ludden.  “I say good morning to his picture as I pass,” she says.  “It’s something I do just automatically.”

So it should come as no surprise that the actress leaped at the opportunity to star in “Annie’s Point,” a Hallmark Channel Original movie in which White’s feisty, flighty character has a similar death-cannot-part-them relationship with her husband.    more

After all these years, Richard Thomas is no longer surprised by the enduring popularity of “The Waltons.”
