Hallmark Channel had its first taste of spring this past week when it ranked #8 in Prime Time for the week with a 1.1 HH rating and over 1.2 million total viewers.  The network’s performance was due in part to the premiere of its latest original movie, “The Shell Seekers,” starring Vanessa Redgrave.  The movie ranked as the day’s highest-rated ad-supported cable movie on Saturday, May 3 (9 p.m., ET/PT) with a 1.7 HH rating, over 1.4 million households and 2.7 million unduplicated viewers P2+.
    “The Shell Seekers” ranked among the top 5 in the time period for HH and total viewers ratings and in the top 10 for HH and total viewers delivery.  It was also the second highest-rated cable movie of the week.
