Michelle Vicary
Senior Vice President, Acquisitions and Scheduling Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel Biography Michelle Vicary, Senior Vice President, Acquisitions and Scheduling for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, oversees all strategic scheduling, acquisitions and program planning. Additionally, she negotiates all acquisition deals, collaborates with original programming to increase the effectiveness of projects and oversees the networks’ inventory needs. She also manages content for alternate program platforms, including video-on-demand and High Definition.
Vicary is based in the channel’s Los Angeles headquarters and reports to David Kenin, Executive Vice President, Programming.
Vicary has held various positions throughout her tenure at Hallmark Channel, most recently as Vice President, Program Scheduling and Administration where she had oversight responsibilities for the network’s on-air schedule, including original movie premieres, stunts and quarterly strategies. She was previously Director, Program Scheduling and Administration and Manager, Program and Promo Scheduling.
Before joining the network, Vicary was Vice President of Marketing for Evening Star Music Group where she spearheaded the label’s launch and created marketing and distribution arms for its roster of artists.
Her scheduling career began as Manager of Scheduling and On-Air Promotion for MGM Television Networks, where she created the monthly network schedule, conducted long-term movie and series planning and managed all on-air promotions.
Vicary received a bachelor’s degree in radio, television and film from California State University, Northridge.
